Bam its Thursday!

Holy Moly! This is literally the first moment I have had all week!!! Ms Peanut is on the move and into EVERYTHING! I do not sit down or stop running after her until after she goes to bed each night! So much fun , sooo much work!!
I'm loving a few things in particular this week

One of my transition scents ...it can be worn year round but Hubs got it for me during a colder month so I associate with fall:)

One of these came in my September birchbox and dare I say I like it more than my Emi jay hair ties! I am crazy for thinking of Christmas already, but these would make awesome stocking stuffers!

The smell of pumpkin! I have this baby burning ( up high and out of reach) in the evenings to make the house smell festive

I don't even know what to say about these. I am not usually a white chocolate person, but these are a little bit too addictive! They sort of taste a bit like a skittle but I am loving the colors. I may have "taste-tested" a few too many while filling up my apothecary jars with fall colored candies!

Ms Peanut and I are off for a first Kindermusik Class today and we are super excited! She really loves music so I hope she loves this class. I still have wonderful memories of going to fun classes with my mom so hopefully Ms. Peanut will feel the same way:)

Last week I was lucky enough to have Ms. Peanut sit for her very first Silhouette , cut by the famous Erik Johnson. Her frame isn't in yet but I could not be happier with how it turned out. I am sure I will have more done over the years, but there will always be something so special about this one:)

beauty book

So I stole this from my mom who just bought it thinking it might be just another "tip" book. I was pleasantly surprised! She drops lots of names, and lists actual brands - there is even a section in which she lists beauty products at different budget points which is so fun. Knowing you can score some awesome beauty products at Target in addition to Nordstrom is always a plus. I loved her section on nails...naturally.

 A fun book to own and even take with you shopping!

Fall Fashion

On our girls trip to the beach I was actually able to sneak in a little shopping (next to impossible with an infant in tow)! Ms. Peanut was sleeping in her stroller and my sweet mom carried my little pup around while I shopped at super speed to score some gear for the fall.

It feels so great to have some cute (non maternity) fall outfits in my closet, and even better to have my sweet 8 month old with me,  what a difference a year makes!

Blessed...

I am blessed, with the most wonderful mother in the world. We just returned from our "girls trip" and we couldn't have had a better time. The weather was beautiful but a bit cooler making way for lots of daytime adventures and evening shenanigans. Words wouldn't do it justice so here are a few pictures, I cant wait to continue this tradition for years and years to come.

I get a bit teary eyed packing away her teensy little clothes but baby jeggings and a shawl- collar sweat jacket, seriously??!! They are so cute I cannot wait to put her in them!

In other news...

Ms. Peanut is standing, and I thought the crawling was crazy - now I am sure I will never accomplish anything again! Running after her is exhausting but I love every moment of it:)

My Mom, Ms Peanut and I are off to the beach for a "fall girls trip" until the middle of next week! I cannot wait to spend some quality time together, and start a new tradition with Ms. Peanut! Look forward to catching up with everyone when we get back!

Closet Re-Org

I have such a love/hate relationship with this time of the year. Summer is officially over but it is still hot as blazes in most parts of the country. I have added a few fall pieces (non maternity this year) to my wardrobe but I am in serious need of a closet reorganizing session to really take a proper inventory. The closet is "elfa'd" but I am hoping to play around with the shelves to better accommodate jeans and sweaters!
