Is Anybody out there??

Its been almost a year since my last blog post and for quite sometime, I wasn't sure I was ever going to blog again. I'm giving it a go here so be patient with me as I am seriously out of practice! I will fill you in on a few of the happenings in the past year.

Hubs and I found out we were expecting right around the time I wrote my last blog post, and I was so scared/nervous/excited I didn't want to tell anyone.

Two of the 11 tests I took...Call it denial I wasn't even convinced until our first doctors appointment!

I packed on the pounds, craving lemons, sour patch kids and anything sour... certain I was having a little boy. ( My 4 pound Maltipoo weighed about the same as my little peanut when this picture was taken!)

Raleigh was really hard for me, I never felt like I lived there and God certainly had bigger plans for us because Hubs got a transfer back to the DC area at the end of the year. We moved while I was 36 weeks preggo! I was scared I would go into labor in the U-Haul on the way up! Changing doctors wasn't terribly difficult and we moved in the week before Christmas. Poor Hubs had to fly back down to finish things up but managed to come home for Christmas- It was the best Christmas yet, to be back in the area amongst friends and family preparing for our baby girl:)

January 14th 2012, The best day of my life...

Hubs and I welcomed our little Peanut

Mary Clare

 6 pounds 12 ounces 19 inches

Labor was a total breeze for me (my root canal was worse) I feel totally blessed since I have heard horror stories from many others. I want to write out her birth story since I think It will be really cool to show her someday, so maybe that will be a future post. I had a minor complication during delivery so I didn't get to hold her right away, I watched Hubs who stood with her while they checked her out and the look on his face ( and tears in his eyes) were the most adorable sight ever. He held her first and brought her to me, I think that is a really cool bond that the two of them will always share.

One of her newborn shots:)

Just cannot get enough!

My Little Peanut is already 3 Months old!!

My Life has been forever changed, and I thank God everyday for blessing me with such a perfect, healthy, beautiful baby girl. Motherhood is certainly a game changer but one which I am so enjoying.

With all of these changes I am hoping to get back into blogging since I think its an excellent outlet, especially being a stay at home mom. I would also like to update my blog with a new design. I know so many of you specialize in blog design so any suggestions for who to use would be greatly appreciated.

Hope everyone is well!
