My Weekend Recap.

I even woke up at 6am Saturday to get a workout in before I drove about an hour to my moms house so we could spend the day lunching, and shopping and getting some QT together. Well I did get up, did work out, did drive there, only to stay 2 hours and get back in the car to come home. The trip home was horrible and scary, cars were sliding all over the place and the snow was coming down really heavy!

Here is a view from our condo window
And another before I drew up the blinds...
Well whats a girl to do??? Bake! I made a challenge with myself to bake as many different types of sweets with only the ingredients I had on hand (no running out in the snow for an item)
I did really well! Here is a stack of the Chocolate sandwich cookies with vanilla cream filling-TDF!
Chocolate chip Coconut Blondies (my first time making blondies and they are amazing!)

Peanut butter hearts, so easy, so simple and sooooooo yummy! Paula Deen always does it up right!
More Sandwich Cookies
All three tiers!!

**I also made a giant cupcake cake for My dads birthday, and two giant Pizza Cookies! It was really fun to be creative to see how far I could stretch what I had on hand to make lots of different things!!

You are too much! I can't believe you made all those yummy treats in one day with ingredients on hand. So impressive. I'm even more impressed you would wake up at 6am on a Saturday to work out! The ability to do that is what separates me from those who wear size 4 jeans. :) Hope you stay warm in all that snow.
