I feel like the rabbit from Cinderella or a chicken with its head cut off! Ran out the door at 630 this morning to the grocery to stock up on goods for the weekend. I have drinks and apps with a sweet girlfriend tonight, I am making an Italian Feast for Mom and Dad who are coming over for an early dinner tomorrow, and Sunday my In-laws are coming by to celebrate my father in laws birthday, by eating cupcakes that I have to bake! SOOO... I didn't have time to make coffee before I ran out the door this morning, and figured I would just grab a diet soda at the store ( I try not to do this, but I need caffeine in the first few hours after waking-its a problem!). I reached for the first row of Diet Mountain Dew (instead of my go to diet coke) and they were barely cold, like the coolers had just been turned on, so I grabbed another one a little bit cooler and started drinking it in line. Loaded the groceries, drove halfway home, chugged almost the rest of the bottle on the way, when to my absolute HORROR i noticed that the label looked a little bit different, i slowly pulled it down into my sight (while the light had turned green and every one was blaring their horns at me) when it hit me. I had just polished off a full 12 oz bottle of REGULAR Mountain Dew!! I do not drink regular soda at all, not just for the calories but for the sugar ( I save that for sweets that fill me up!). I am going to be go go going all day from all of that sugar, which maybe is just what I needed. I should have grabbed the bottle of diet coke, obviously it looks different! So here I am already starting to feel the jitters, and kicking myself for not drinking what I usually do!
On a completely different Subject, I would really like Santa Claus to bring me a pretty headband (I'm not sure how well I can pull this off) Maybe like one of these...

Oh I love those headbands...you can so pull them off! They have some really similar to those a Forever and Charolette Russe for like $4! I just bought one to see if I can pull it off but I havent worn it yet!
Oh, I could so use one of those myself today...maybe a second cup of coffee anyway!
I love the headbands!! So fun for the holidays!! I didn't realize you were a Hokie!! Such a small world!! We just love Rehoboth beach - such a great little area. Kevin spent a lot of time during the summers there too! Wow, SUCH a small world!! :) I just love how the blog world connects people!!
