My mini shopping excursion on Saturday went really well. I found a dress for an upcoming event and I love it!
I almost bought this one from BCBG but wound up putting in on hold for an hour so i could check out the other stores (and because they have a crazy return/exchange policy)!
I am so glad I did because I found this one that I absolutely love!

It is such a departure from my standard black cocktail dress, I am so proud of myself for branching out! Has anyone tried this eye pencil yet? I love a smoky eye for holiday parties and the like, and this looks like a departure from the crazy Hard Candy sparkly eye pencil (in lilac) I had in high school (yes I am ashamed!) I usually line my eyes with black liquid liner and this might be a pretty change without being too drastic? Thoughts?

I love blue! I know what you mean about branching out from the LBD. I have an obsession with black dresses, but you'll find a LOT of color in my wardrobe otherwise! (PS I LOVE that pink dress!) Cute blog!
